Having a go at the Jessica Tromp bolero pattern - had seen this on Ravelry a few times but didn't think I was quite skilled enough at crochet to give it a go (go to 17 bolero shrug patterns knit or crochet with wool or cotton yarns for pattern).
I'm delighted with it so far, only started it last night and finished one motif. The diagrammatic pattern is ok to follow once you get the hang of it!
I've used Anchor Freccia 3 ply crochet thread which I got for £1.99 at my local woolshop (Kemps in Sunderland), there is a whopping 780m on one ball - bargain!!
